Annual Snow Goose Chase
In April the ENC holds the Tofield Area Snow Goose Chase. This event is an opportunity to witness the marvels of migration. Inner city groups participate thanks to sponsorship.
Public busses are available to those who purchase tickets.

Annual Grasslands Tour
Brooks and Milk River May Bird Species Counts
These events are hosted by the ENC in conjunction with Nature Calgary. Many miles of rough trails are traversed in search of grassland species, all made possible by the co-operation

Edmonton Christmas Bird Count (ECBC)
Local naturalists have continuously held these seasonal counts for over 50 years as part of a large, world-wide citizen-science project.
In 1987 Edmonton set the world record of participants on a CBC and the number of 1288 counters still holds today!
Information gathered contributes to an immense database managed and analysed by Bird Studies Canada and the Audubon Society.
Annual Club Banquet
Our banquet, held in the spring, is a social gathering and an opportunity to recognize and celebrate those who have made outstanding contributions. A guest speaker is scheduled.
